Yordanys Valdes is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP, APRN) and a dual-certified nurse practitioner. He provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management and therapy, and he is licensed in Florida and New Mexico.
Can I be seen by video?
Yes. Anywhere in Florida you can choose a video visit or come to our Tampa office. In New Mexico, visits are by video only.
What do I need for a video visit?
A phone, tablet or computer with a camera, a reliable internet connection and a private place to talk.
Do you take my insurance?

What happens at the first visit?
Your first evaluation is a conversation. Yordanys takes the time to listen to your story, asks about your history and what you'd like to change, then talks you through a plan.
Do you offer therapy as well as medication management?
Yes. Alongside medication management, Yordanys offers psychotherapy, drawing on approaches such as CBT, DBT and mindfulness-based therapy.
Do you see patients in Spanish?
Yes. Care is available in English and Spanish.
